Throat Cancer

I found out the last week if September 2008 that I have throat cancer which was quite a surprise to me.  I have never smoked cigarettes and I am not a drinker, the two primary reasons people get throat cancer. I think it came on me due to using cedar wood as my primary wood source for my woodworks and not wearing enough protection to block the deadly toxic filled cedar sawdust.  It really did not matter.  The doctors wanted to start treatment, so they did.  After a little over five months of chemotherapy and radiation treatment, I have finally finished.  The results are still out, however the signs are all positive that the cancer is gone. 

I was concerned that in not having any Health Insurance I might not receive the same quality of care I would othertwise receive if I had insurance.   As far as I can tell that has not been the case.  I did not have any surgery, which would be a major factor.  My Oncologist Dr. Bromer (Augusta Oncology associates) Dr. Cris Hall (Augusta Radiology Associates) and all of the other various testing labs, CAT scan, PET scan, and X Rays etc. have all worked with me as much as possible in order to stick to a firm treatment regiment.  I have still amassed a very large bill (link to details) to date. I would very much appreciate any donations contributed to my cancer fund allowing me to to pay these fine professionals.
