Natural Wood Sculptures Mingled with Crystals and MineralsVery interesting and unique items sculptured by Nature for your home and garden. Featuring natural sculptures made from Red cedar and dogwood including some embedded with a variety of quality crystals and minerals.
Our products are made primarily from eastern red cedar trees. After the life-cycle of the tree has completed it then begins an amazing process of decomposition. As the softer wood slowly rots away the red core of the cedar tree is exposed, leaving an intriguing display of cedar grain and burl wood. The trees I harvest are carefully selected for each one's particular character and unique charm . The core wood of a red cedar tree is naturally resistant to decomposition, many stand in the forest for decades. I clean and minimally shape the wood to accentuate the natural beauty, merely a calling forth of the designs carved by Nature. |
